GROUNDED STATE

By now, you might’ve seen a pin drop land in a group chat with little explanation beyond “be there at 8” and no more context than trust us

A roadside stop somewhere you’d otherwise drive straight past. A river hidden twenty minutes off-route or a hidden gem 30 minutes from London. A web of places that only exists in your world because someone thought to send it on.

That’s always been the idea behind Pin drops. Less of a guide, more of an open invitation. A growing collection of places tied to nature, movement and the connection we find there.

This pin was our third we’ve dropped, built together with Vivobarefoot and joined by friends at Walk This Way around the idea of a Grounded State. Tuning into the power of our feet in the way they’re designed to move, hold our posture and connect more closely to the ground beneath us, something city life has slowly pulled us away from.

For this pin we met at Victoria Station before heading south toward East Grinstead - an underrated stretch of trails, lakes and woodland just outside the city. Through hiking, barefoot workshops, yoga and time spent outdoors, the day explored the idea of Grounded State together. Honing in on the role our feet play in the way we move through the world, and what happens when you feel a little more connected to the ground beneath you.

Thank you to everyone who came through, you’re a lovely bunch, more events and pin drops coming soon - stay posted on our socials and email.
